Description:

“Auburn University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct independent and collaborative research on the ecology of harmful algal blooms (HABs). The selected candidate will help identify research questions, design and conduct field and laboratory experiments, analyze experimental and monitoring datasets, prepare manuscripts for publication, present research at conferences and stakeholder meetings, and assist in securing extramural funding. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible, non-tenure-track position with the potential for renewal up to four years based on performance and funding.

Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Biology, Aquaculture, Microbiology, Ecology, Limnology, Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Ecology, or a closely related field (completed by start date)
- Experience working with harmful algal blooms
- Experience analyzing experimental and/or monitoring datasets
- Record of manuscript preparation and publication
- Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements by the start date
