Description:
“This two-year postdoctoral fellowship supports research in tropical or subtropical ecology and environmental science at the University of Florida. The Fellow will work with a UF faculty mentor to collaboratively design and conduct original, impactful research. The fellowship aims to broaden scientific expertise, strengthen mentorship partnerships, and advance ecological knowledge relevant to tropical or subtropical systems.
Requirements:
- PhD earned within the past two years prior to the fellowship start date.
- Research must relate to tropical or subtropical ecology or environmental science.
- Must secure a UF faculty mentor with a commitment letter.
- Research should be broad in relevance (not narrowly taxonomic or site-specific).
- English proficiency required.
- Residency at UF for at least 12 months over the 2-year period.
- Not eligible: UF PhD graduates, current UF postdocs.
