Santa Cruz beach in Ponce is composed of sand and volcanic rock fragments and is located on the east side of the mouth of the Bucaná River in the area of Caleta Cabullones. It is visited by fishermen who take advantage of the estuary to catch snook and other species that inhabit the area.
