We are an 1101.01 and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to connect you with opportunities for growth within environmental conservation.
ABOUT US
Conservation Opportunity is a non-profit organization incorporated in Puerto Rico that connects people with paid and volunteer opportunities in the field of environmental conservation, mostly in Puerto Rico and the United States. It provides them with guidance to further their professional development within this particular field. The organization helps alleviate the fact that you have to go to over twenty different resources (websites, social networks, email subscriptions, among others) to gather this information. In addition, it conducts outdoor education events such as natural area cleanups, native and endemic population reestablishment, on-farm agroforestry practices, among others.
Vision
We have the vision to offer paid internship positions to send people to gain work experience with different environmental entities/organizations around the island.
Mission
Our mission is to connect people with opportunities for growth and development in the field of protecting our natural resources.

OUTSTANDING PROJECTS
Habitat Restoration
Habitat Restoration
We organized and assisted in habitat restoration activities including plantings and beach cleanups around the island of Puerto Rico. During the cleanup shown in this photo, we collected 1,794 pounds of trash after the work of the organizations and volunteers who were present. We also planted up to 100 trees in one day. Hurdle to Events to join our efforts.
Professional Improvement
Professional Improvement
We offer workshops, lectures and office hours focused on professional improvement for individuals interested in pursuing a career in environmental conservation. Office hours include mock interviews to prepare the individual for their next interview.

A Crucial Project for Environmental Conservation in PR | Episode 80: Conservation Opportunity
“Today we know the story of Fabiola Torres, who a year ago founded Conservation Opportunity - an organization that seeks to support the recruitment of jobs in environmental conservation. From an idea, and a list she wrote for friends, Fabiola decided to formalize her efforts and become Conversation Opportunity. Its mission is to facilitate the search for jobs, internships or volunteering in the field. I invite you to learn more about their efforts on the website or on social media.” -To Serve You
