Description: “The Environmental Interpretation Coordinator supervises a team of employees performing administrative and operational tasks, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and on time in support of established goals. The position participates in the implementation of operational plans and determines appropriate approaches to meet programmatic objectives. This position requires availability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays, as well as travel as needed.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in similar roles
- Experience supervising and managing personnel
- Experience in giving lectures and presentations
- Experience in research and field work
- Knowledge of Mac operating system and Outlook (preferred)
- Bilingual command of English and Spanish, both oral and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, negotiation, persuasion, conflict and confidential information management.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays and travel in and out of Puerto Rico.
- Availability to work in the field, including open, mountainous and coastal areas.
