Join us at Finca Higuaca to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day. This year's theme is Dark Nights, Safe Migrations! which seeks to draw attention to the impact of light pollution on the behavior and movement of birds at night. We will be celebrating at a farm with almost no light pollution where we will be observing the stars with telescopes (even the Milky Way is visible!), camping and doing a bird census the next morning.
Dates: 8-9/October/2022
Schedule (6:30pm ~ 8am):
- Saturday, 8/October: 6:30pm set up booths and stargazing from 7pm to 10pm
- Sunday, 9/October: bird census from 6:30am to approximately 8am.
If camping: Donation of $10 per hut
Payment Method to Finca Higuaca Corp.: ATH Mobile or Cash
