Conservation Opportunity (CO) celebrates its second year of functionality by highlighting its 2022 accomplishments, fulfilling its mission and vision of promoting paid internships and volunteer activities, connecting people with opportunities for growth and inspiring the Puerto Rican and international community towards sustainability.
It is worth noting that during the year, CO was able to carry out about six videos and professional growth, as well as published 20 pieces related to the environment and professional growth. journalistic on issues pertinent to Puerto Rican ecology and efforts to preserve it.

The nonprofit participated in numerous efforts and organized multiple initiatives, including:
January: CO organized the Program Expo Preview, a virtual event in which a series of workshops were created related to professional improvement, including the creation of abstracts and cover letters. In addition, a collaboration was established with Finca Semila, located in Barceloneta, and they were oriented on the cultivation and production of local chocolate in agroforestry systems.

They also participated in the Conservation Careers Symposium and continued to collaborate with Finca Semila by organizing volunteer events.
April: The organization managed to exceed 3,000 followers on its Instagram account, one of the social networks with which it was able to create a space for direct interaction with its audience. In addition, CO contributed to the meeting of the U.S. Department of the Interior next to the Southern Region Advisory Council from United States Forest Service (USFS) and HAF in San Juan, Puerto Rico. May: The organization teamed up with the Boy Scouts of America Unit 334 to assist with a service project in Hatillo.
